Getting the camera that fits you
I’ve always wanted a really cool camera that could take nice clean and crisp photos. As a consequense I went out in search for a quality starter camera within an affordable pricerange.
I started out visiting the local camera pushers, and I can really recommend visiting as many stores as possible and benefitting from the knowledge of the people who are working with this every day. These guys know they are in competition with the internet vendors, so they usualy go all out to give you some good advice, and a good price.
Fresh full of impressions and having narrowed my search down to 3-4 different cameras, I went back home to do some research on the internet. There are loads of sites dealing with camera specs, pricing, usage needs and comparisons – here are just two:

I ended up bying the Sony Alpha 200, also know as A200 – so far I’m pretty pleased with it, but I also have to admit that I’m no expert – for the geeks here are the specifications.
